What You'll Do:
- Comprehensive evaluation of patients using the highest level of information and testing available. This evaluation is to be fully documented in the Coastal EHR using industry standards of documentation.
- Documents objective measures and tests in our companies EHR in a clear and concise fashion.
- Performs regular reassessments (or progress notes) at least once per month. These progress notes are intended to give a brief assessment of the patient’s current condition and how their progress relates to the original POC and goals set at the initial visit.
- Maintains patient treatment schedules consistent with the needs of the patent and the department.
- Confers with the person(s) most closely associated with the active management of the patient and keeps them informed of any additional patient needs, treatment and/or progress.
What Your Qualifications Should Be:
- Graduate from an accredited school of physical therapy (APTA).
- Must hold a current PT License and or registration or be able to obtain one in the state of Florida.
- Must know the principles and practice of PT, be familiar with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and possess knowledge of management and supervision techniques.
