Lead Operator: 3 days per week you are responsible for overseeing and assisting Press Operators to ensure they operate and maintain injection-molding presses or other manufacturing equipment safely. Ensure product is being produced per the Quality Inspection Plan to assure conformance to customer requirements are met.
Operator Supervisor: The other 3 days of the week, you are the first level of supervision for Press Operators and Lead Operators in the absence of the primary Operator Supervisor. Anticipates production and employee issues and resolves problems to minimize their effect on production. Performs audits on Press Operators and Lead Operators to ensure procedures are being followed and safety guidelines are being met. Communicates directly with the Shift Manager to ensure unproductive time remains at a minimum.
This position is on a 6&3 rotating schedule which means you work 6 days and have the next 3 days off!
Hours Available:
- 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm ($18.50 to $20.50 per hour, DOQ)
Qualifications:
- One year experience in manufacturing and/or assembly line or related production
- Proven leadership skills
- Maintain open communication with fellow employees, supervision and management and remain open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things
- Prioritize and plans work activities and uses time efficiently
- Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
