Dates of Employment: October 6, 2025 – December 23, 2025
Salary Range: $600.00 – $700.00 daily rate (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview:
The Hasbrouck Heights School District is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and experienced leader to serve as the Interim Principal of Lincoln School, a Pre-K through 5th grade elementary school from October 6, 2025 to December 23, 2025. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership and management to ensure the smooth operation of the school during this temporary assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the elementary school, ensuring a safe, supportive, and high-achieving learning environment for all students.

• Lead and collaborate with faculty and staff to foster student growth and academic achievement across all grade levels.

• Support and mentor teachers in instructional practices and classroom management.

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and the community to maintain strong relationships and ensure ongoing support for school initiatives.

• Manage school resources efficiently and ensure that all school policies and procedures are followed.

• Collaborate with district leadership to address any emerging issues or concerns.

• Lead and support the school’s efforts in meeting state and district goals, particularly in literacy, math, and social-emotional learning.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Principal Certification (or equivalent).

• Proven experience as a school principal or assistant principal, or central office personnel, preferably in elementary education.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a positive school culture.

• Experience with school improvement initiatives, curriculum development, and staff professional development.
