Food & Beverage Manager
Department: Food & Beverage Location: Franklin, TNAt Southall Farm & Inn, we are on a journey to inspire culinary consciousness�showcasing fresh, seasonal fare that highlights the path from seed to plate. Our dining experiences take place just steps from where our ingredients are grown and raised.
Our two restaurants, Sojourner and January, each offer a unique perspective on food and community. Sojourner, the heart of the Inn, provides elegant yet approachable all-day dining, including in-room service. January offers an intimate, dinner-only experience, with menus that evolve with the seasons and the day�s harvest.
The Food & Beverage Manager plays a vital role in shaping and leading our dining experiences across the property. This individual will be instrumental in maintaining excellence, inspiring teams, and bringing to life Southall�s signature approach to food and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee A.M. and P.M. operations across outlets.

Support food & beverage programming, including culinary demonstrations and unique property-wide amenities (e.g., s�mores stations, bourbon bottle service, customized honor bar programs).

Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staff training, inventory, ordering, and cost controls (labor, beverage, and operating costs).

Uphold the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Partner with the Director of Dining on strategic initiatives, vendor relationships, and program development.
Skills & Experience:
-
2�4 years of food & beverage leadership experience, ideally in fine dining.

At least 1 year in a luxury hotel or resort environment (Relais & Ch�teaux/Forbes standards preferred).

Pre-opening or expansion experience a plus.

Strong understanding of budgets, P&L management, and business planning.

Proven track record of excellence, awards, or industry recognition preferred.

Exceptional communication and training skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a pristine work environment.

Guest-focused with impeccable hospitality instincts.

Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education & Requirements:

Bachelor�s degree preferred; equivalent training and experience considered.

Ability to walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods.

Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Professional, polished appearance and demeanor.
