**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental staff in providing quality oral healthcare to patients. The Dental Assistant will perform various patient care, office, and laboratory duties under the supervision of a dentist.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, and seating them.
2. Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and surfaces.
3. Hand instruments and materials to dentists during procedures.
4. Take dental x-rays.
5. Maintain accurate patient records.
6. Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
7. Schedule patient appointments.
8. Assist with office tasks as needed.

**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- CPR certification.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
