The opportunity
As bilingual sourcing supervising associate for EY Canada’s Contingent Workforce (CWF) Management Program, you are responsible for supporting the on-demand sourcing requirements for all lines of service across Canada. The bilingual sourcing supervising associate reports to CWF’s Program Leader for operations and works closely with CWF Governance, Experienced Management, Preferred Supplier List and Vendor Community across Canada. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality on-demand candidates in the market. The bilingual sourcing supervising associate will also play a role as a business partner to external and internal stakeholders and will have the ability to implement best practice strategies to deliver end-to-end sourcing processes to support the CWF Program. You will be responsible for matching of on-demand candidate skillsets against RFP requirements for Government and Public Sector (GPS) engagements by collaborating and supporting the GPS Consulting team for the Federal, Provincial and Mun
The successful candidate will act as an EY Contingent Workforce’s (CWF) ambassador, embodying the EY culture in the external market. You will be expected to perform the following tasks and deliverables:
Your key responsibilities
- Source, qualify and interview Independent Consultants/Sub-Contractors for proposals and staffing requests issued by Engagement Managers and Partners across all lines of service across Canada (Federal Government sector, Crown Corporations, Ministries, Provincial, Municipal and Private Sector Clients)
- Fully vet qualified consultants against matrix requirements for each RFP and task authorisations assigned
- Negotiate contract rates and provide guidance on market rates where necessary
- Assist the pursuits team with coordinating and facilitating resume updates when necessary
- Conduct in-person interviews with consultants proposed to our internal and external clients
- Provide excellent support to consultants throughout the full recruiting cycle
- Provide end to end support as well as maintain strong working relationship with consultants
- Assist the Security team with the clearance duplication process for each consultant assigned to a contract role Reliability/Secret
- Make full use of all recruiting resources such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster and other talent sourcing communities of interest
- Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (database) with up-to-date contact information, resumes and other relevant consultant information
- Deliver appropriate recruitment plans based on an understanding of recruitment methods and concepts
Skills and attributes for success
- Demonstrate an understanding of assessment methods to ensure all candidates presented meet the technical job requirements and fit the EY culture.
- Develop an understanding of the business, the external market and trends that impact our practice- such as understanding key players, mapping of relevant skillsets and maintaining a pipeline of ready to hire candidates.
- Demonstrate knowledge regarding the firm’s recruitment tools, processes and embrace the branding strategy in the recruitment lifecycle
What we look for
- Intermediate to advanced level, with a strong background in sourcing contingent workforce consultants and with at least 3-5 years relevant experience
- Experience sourcing for management and business consulting professionals preferred
- Proven track record of executing volume sourcing and solid experience in sourcing candidates from a variety of sources (i.e. networking, job boards, LinkedIn recruitment portals etc.
- Ability to quickly pick up full account management of key practice areas such as Project Management, Business and Management Consulting, IM/IT
- Bilingual French and English
- Strong acumen for attention to detail
- Ability to go the extra mile service to all internal and external clients
- A university degree and related business experience are required
- Strong knowledge of firm recruitment policies, processes, and protocols and a broad understanding of the firm's service lines.
