In this position, you will take on the role of a translator in a large-scale business transformation program on SAP S/4HANA Greenfield for a company with a holding structure and multiple business segments. Embedded in the Data Stream team, this role ensures that regulatory, compliance, and data integrity requirements are identified, assessed, and built within SAP S/4HANA and its associated applications.

Your assignments
Regulatory Framework Alignment: Identify, interpret, and translate relevant regulatory requirements into data-related controls and guidelines for the business transformation program, e.g. Finance and Accounting Regulations, GxP Compliance, Data Protection and AI-related Regulations, Corporate Sustainability and Reporting, IT and System Validation as well as Global Trade and Customs.
Compliance-by-Design: Collaborate with data architects, business process owners, and IT teams to embed regulatory requirements into data models, data flows, and system configurations from the outset. Ensure that regulatory needs are translated into technically feasible and process-compatible data structures.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the Elevate Data Stream and internal compliance, legal, finance, and other regulatory departments (e.g. data protection). Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions to ensure shared understanding of regulatory expectations and their implications for data design.
Risk Identification and Mitigation: Proactively identify compliance risks related to data usage, storage, migration, and reporting. Define mitigation strategies and ensure traceability of regulatory controls throughout the data lifecycle.
Documentation and Audit Readiness: Support the definition and maintenance documentation standards to ensure audit readiness, evidence of regulatory alignment and data traceability.
Training and Awareness: Deliver content to training materials to raise awareness of regulatory requirements among project teams and data owners.
Governance Integration: Support the integration of regulatory requirements into the program’s data governance framework, ensuring consistency across master data, transactional data, and reporting layers.
Your profile
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business information systems, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in regulatory requirements management, with at least 3 years focused on SAP S/4HANA
Proven experience in leading regulatory requirements management projects within SAP S/4HANA environments
Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data management principles
Ability to translate legal requirements into SAP application design respecting business economics
Knowledge of data protection regulations and Data/IT security concepts as well as finance and accounting regulatory frameworks of public listed companies
Knowledge of GxP compliance regulations and computer system validation (CSV)
Experience in managing complex interdependencies across multiple workstreams and teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
