Job Description:
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the preparation and reporting of monthly Management Accounts, you will support and perform when necessary the review and updating of machines costing, review and update of standard costs, and provide key KPI report information to Dungannon site Department managers and corporate management as required.
Must be a team player able to demonstrate strong customer focus with the energy, drive and commitment to successfully work through any and all issues and objectives related to this role and that of the overall team.

Required Education & Experience:
A third level education, ideally in an Accounts capacity CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Experience in preparing and reporting accounts preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong accounts systems knowledge and proficient in Excel Spreadsheets and MS Word
Auditing / Internal Control experience
Experience working with Oracle

The ability to work overtime , prioritise and thrive under pressure in a fast moving business meeting tight deadlines
The confidence to do presentations , strong communication skills both oral and written, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- You will prepare month end financial information to ensure that the 4 day close is achieved, including preparing and posting journals and the input of all financial data into Corporate reporting database.
- You will prepare and submit all monthly and quarterly supporting Management accounts, Site Packs, Brand Packs, Corporate narratives and operating analysis in line with Corporate reporting calendar.
- You will assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, assisting and mentoring all department managers in the preparation of their budget costs where necessary, you will co-ordinate the input of all financial data into Corporate reporting database to ensure Corporate deadlines are met
- You will actively engage in all Internal SOX self-testing, the review of all internal procedures and assist in both internal and external audits, to ensure that all ICRM mile markers are met, including the review of all monthly, quarterly working papers for completeness.
- You will assist in all aspects of Inventory control in relation to cycle counting, and/or physical inventory counts, review variances, prepare Cycle count KPI’s and attend cycle counts as a financial auditor.
- You will review and suggest ways of how internal business intelligence can be improved to assist management in decision making.
- You will provide all KPI information required by department management and corporate management as required
- You will assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of Financial management as the need arises.
- You will prepare all Month End control account Reconciliations
- You will assist cost accountants in reviewing existing machines costing,– materials, labour and overhead, updating costs or routings for completeness when necessary
- You will be expected to become involved when necessary in financial gate reviews for NPPD in order to gain product knowledge and you will be responsible for preparing grant claims for R+D gathering all cost information and submitting claims liaising with external provider when necessary
- You will prepare and sign off on weekly payroll submissions, you will review and sign off on subcontractor payments and provide reports to management in relation to overtime and efficiencies as required.
- You will attend meetings where financial input is required and deputise for the Financial Controller at meetings when required
