Description

We are seeking a Senior Visual Merchandising Executive to join the MAC and Bobbi Brown Travel Retail EMEA team, based in London. This pivotal role is responsible for driving the visual merchandising strategy, execution, and elevation of both brands’ presence across Travel Retail in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

 

Reporting to the Visual Merchandising Manager, the role will focus on new store openings, campaign rollouts, promotional activations, and permanent fixture executions. It’s a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative position, ideal for a confident VM professional who thrives on ownership, stakeholder management, and delivering visually impactful retail environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution:

  • Lead VM execution across EMEA, ensuring consistency, timeliness, and brand alignment for both MAC and Bobbi Brown.
  • Partner with Store Design and external vendors (e.g. Wenbar, Echo,) to deliver permanent fixture solutions in key locations.
  • Collaborate with Store Design Project Managers to create VM timelines and estimates for new openings and renovations.
  • Oversee production and installation of 2D/3D promotional sites and high-profile activations (HPP/SPP).
  • Attend installations to ensure flawless VM delivery, including product placement, visuals, and quality photography.
  • Manage budgets, quotes, invoices, and approvals with accurate tracking and reporting.

Visual Merchandising Delivery:

  • Manage lightbox updates, visual refreshes, and regional campaign execution from creative through to installation.
  • Create detailed, door-specific planograms that reflect market assortments while maintaining global brand standards.
  • Ensure best-in-class VM execution in key stores and during VIP visits.
  • Maintain a central archive of rollouts including visuals, mock-ups, photos, and execution feedback.
  • Partner with Store Design and Marketing to develop planograms and category zoning for new stores and renovations.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:

  • Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Retailers, Marketing, Store Design, Project Management, Field VM and global teams to align on priorities and timelines.
  • Liaise with Travel Retail partners to ensure consistent brand identity for MAC and Bobbi Brown across all environments.
  • Manage and guide VM coordinators and freelancers, providing support, training, and delegation.
  • Collaborate with printers, installers, and agencies to deliver campaigns seamlessly.

Creative Leadership & Strategic Planning:

  • Facilitate VM workshops and masterclasses to align regional teams on brand standards.Support development of VM decks for seasonal launches and key meetings.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance shopper engagement and elevate brand presence in Travel Retail.

Ad Hoc & Strategic Projects:

  • Support wider VM initiatives and cross-brand projects when required.
  • Identify execution gaps and propose creative, practical solutions tailored to travel retail environments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Significant experience in visual merchandising within beauty or premium retail.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple projects at pace.
  • Strong communicator with proven stakeholder influence and vendor management skills.
  • Confident managing budgets and delivering projects end-to-end.Flexible to travel regionally for site visits and installations.
