Do you have hands-on experience with elevators, escalators, or access control systems?

Join our dynamic Facilities Management team and take the lead in coordinating and overseeing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of essential conveyance systems—including elevators, escalators, and lifts—to ensure safety and reliability across our facilities.

You'll also play a critical role in access control, troubleshooting and maintaining electronic locks, card readers, and system hardware, while managing updates and reports in the access control database.

  • Coordinate inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building conveyances to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for service providers handling conveyance systems, automatic gates, and overhead doors.
  • Facilitate timely repairs and preventative maintenance for all conveyance-related systems.
  • Document service requests, maintenance activities, and vendor communications using the Archibus work order system.
  • Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting on automatic gates and overhead doors; coordinate vendor assistance when needed.
  • Support maintenance and repairs of access control systems, including electric locks, card readers, and control panels.
  • Manage access control databases by updating user permissions, adding/removing users, and generating reports.

Work Hours:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • * On-call required.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  A High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of experience in building construction experience related to applicable, commercial, industrial electrical trade in facility service and maintenance.
  • A valid Florida Driver's License at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to use trade related hand and power tools, heavy equipment used in the construction / renovation of buildings and read construction blueprints. 

Physical Demands: May occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.

CJIS Clearance: **The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as a part of the hiring process.

** Subject to Passing Substance Screening:  This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening.  An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years

About Everything Else

Starting Pay Range: $21.54 (Step 1)

Potential higher pay (steps) for those with multiple years of experience.
