Position Overview:
Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is searching for a seasoned, customer-centric Solution Architect (SA) to bolster our sales and business development team. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Business Development, the SA will collaborate with senior strategists and business analysts to pinpoint, evaluate, and pursue lucrative opportunities. The SA's primary objective is to bring both technical expertise and adept account management skills to support our clientele in the public and private sectors.
The SA is responsible for closely engaging in and collaborating with designated customer accounts to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and potential business opportunities, exploring avenues to enhance the customer’s mission effectiveness through the application of our cutting-edge products and services. The SA’s role centers on maintaining an intimate knowledge of the customer and the customer’s mission requirements to proactively develop tailored solutions hinging on SealingTech's array of custom products and services. The SA will harmonize with our support teams to address customer-specific use cases by leveraging Sealing Tech’s Cyber Defense Tools, hardware, software, and professional services.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Personally perform & lead cybersecurity related engineering tasks as appropriate, including hands-on development.
- Foster and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary technical resource for customers.
- Understand and gather customer requirements to tailor solutions that align with their operational objectives.
- Lead technical solution discussions with customers and ensure successful implementation and delivery.
- Conduct product briefings and presentations for both technical and management teams.
- Initiate and oversee proofs of concept to ensure they meet customer success criteria.
- Contribute to proposal responses, aiding in the development of winning strategies.
- Assist in creating and implementing account plans to achieve short and long-term revenue goals and objectives.
- Attend industry events, gathering intelligence on customer needs, and provide pipeline reporting to C-level staff.
- Participate in routine business growth planning and strategizing with SealingTech Leadership.
- Grow and qualify the opportunity pipeline by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Lead technical volume proposal responses, including storyboarding and win strategy development.
- Understand customer business problems and demonstrate how to solve them using Sealing Tech's solutions.
- Create and support technical capability demonstrations that address a prospect’s business requirements.
- Gather customer requirements and transform the information into efficient and effective solutions utilizing SealingTech products and partner solutions.
- Serve as the technical lead in all solution communications with clients, overseeing progress throughout the project's duration.
Qualifications:
- Proven, documented experience supporting U.S. Cyber Mission Forces (CMF) operations or missions.
- US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET Security Clearance.
- 6 years of experience in solutions engineering, technical sales, or pre-sales engineering role, preferably in the server, hardware, or IT infrastructure industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Record of working closely with customers in a rapidly evolving technology field and creating solutions that satisfy customer business expectations.
- Ability to maintain a solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services.
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear solutions and value propositions for customers.
- Proficiency with common sales and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Willingness to travel to client sites or trade shows as needed.
- Technical experience/expertise in cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, DevSecOps, and implementation of services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to clearly explain detailed technological strategies to technical, business, and C-level audiences.
- Experience directly supporting proposal development and response (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, TOs).
- Strong understanding of server architecture, including CPUs, memory, storage, networking, and system integration.
- Experience with data center technologies, enterprise IT systems, and common server use cases (e.g., virtualization, HPC, cloud infrastructure).
- Extensive experience with operating systems to include Linux or Unix environments.
- Strong experience with network configuration, switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, VPNs, devices, protocols, speeds, and optimizations.
- Experience and/or firm understanding in writing automation code.
- Experience and/or firm understanding of virtualization technologies and architectures (on-prem/hybrid/cloud).
- Experience and/or firm understanding with containers and container platforms.
- Understanding of AI/ML technology/solutions.
- Experience and/or firm understanding of software development & delivery lifecycle and security accreditation processes (e.g. RMF Process).
- Experience and/or firm understanding of authentication technologies and architectures (e.g. SAML, PKI, and smart cards).
- Experience working with DoD-wide programs.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or relevant vendor certifications) are a plus.
