The Area Business Manager (ABM) is responsible for supporting the development and execution of brand strategies and tactical plans to drive the growth of brands in Ventus Team - Nucala, Trelegy Ellipta and Seretide Accuhaler.. The main role is to coach/guide his team members on their roles and responsibilities .The ABM is expected to have knowledge of public account operations like CGHS, Army , Railways and ESI along with trade business.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business performance
- Deliver primary and secondary sales targets in the assigned area.
- Ensure achievement of market share, growth objectives.
- Monitor territory performance and take corrective actions where required.
Team Leadership & Development :
- Set clear targets, guide on call planning, and review field activities.
- Coach and mentor team members on product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement.
- Identify capability gaps and arrange training/development interventions.
- Motivate the team, manage attrition, and build a high-performance culture.
Customer Engagement & Market Development
- Build strong relationships with key doctors, hospitals, stockists, and distributors.
- Support team in important customer calls and joint fieldwork.
- Ensure effective implementation of scientific engagement activities
Execution of Strategy
- Implement marketing campaigns and track effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree with Science background /BPharm
Professional Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience as ABM in pharmaceutical marketing
- Experience in respiratory or specialty care segments is a plus.
