Role Description
• Reporting to the Category Manager, this role is focused on supporting the in country planning and execution of regional merchandise strategies with Anko Global customers.
•Key to this role is an understanding of customers merchandise strategies, pricing architecture, competitor profiles and consumer insights. This role is designed to be the regional resource to support the Category Managers to build and execute both business development and growth strategies for our customers. This will also include preparing and participating in customer meetings (virtual and in person).
•Additional to this, the role will be required to conduct regular store visits to conduct retail range reviews, identify category gaps and opportunities whilst building an understanding of the Kmart merchandise strategy.
Team Member Minimum Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
•University or College Degree
Work Experience:
•Previous experience in wholesale/merchandise/product (1-3 years)
•Familiarity with a wholesale sales function, product development, souring and operations.
•Experience in retail buying/wholesale product management.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities/Technology Used:
•Strong technical expertise in Excel.
•Experience in running and analysing sales reports, identifying and reporting on key trends and opportunities.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong attention to detail.
•Strong ability to collaborate.
•Strong time management.
