Position Summary:
The Facilities Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the resort’s engineering operations. This position ensures the smooth functioning of maintenance activities, vendor coordination, inventory management, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently to uphold the resort’s standards of excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain building and equipment maintenance schedules.
Monitor and follow up on work orders and engineering projects to ensure timely completion.
Serve as a liaison with vendors and suppliers for maintenance-related needs.
Document engineering processes and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Oversee inventory activities including requisitions, ordering, stocking, and shipments.
Perform light maintenance tasks as needed to support the engineering team.
Generate purchase orders and process invoices in a timely manner.
Distribute work orders to team members and track progress.
Research and order uncommon parts and supplies for engineering needs.
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts for the department.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Experience with Maintenance Request programs and CMMS systems preferred.
Strong financial acumen and administrative experience.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to specialized system applications.
Experience in hospitality or resort engineering operations.
Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic maintenance issues.
