Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Injector located in Colleyville, TX. The Nurse Injector will be responsible for providing professional cosmetic injections, including Botox and dermal fillers. Daily tasks include conducting patient consultations, assessing patient needs, preparing and administering treatments, and maintaining patient records. Additional duties involve educating patients on post-treatment care, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and staying updated with the latest aesthetic treatments and technologies.
- Conducts thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, to determine eligibility and suitability for aesthetic treatments.
- Discusses treatment options, expected outcomes, potential risks, and address any questions or concerns the patients may have.
- Provides personalized recommendations based on the patient's needs, desires, and medical history.
- Prepares treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available and properly sterilized.
- Administers local anesthetics and ensure patients' comfort during procedures.
- Monitors patients during and after treatments, addressing any adverse reactions promptly and appropriately.
- Provides pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients, including care guidelines and potential side effects.
- Accurately documents patient information, treatment plans, and procedure details in electronic health records (EHR) or other designated systems.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to data protection regulations when handling patient records and sensitive information.
- Educates patients about proper skincare routines, post-treatment care, and lifestyle modifications to enhance treatment results.
- Answers patient inquiries, provides ongoing support, and addresses any concerns related to treatments or outcomes.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adheres to clinic policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a sterile and safe environment.
- Stays updated on the latest aesthetic techniques, products, and industry trends through continuous professional development and training.
- Assists in quality improvement initiatives, including evaluating patient satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
- Meticulously reviews the medical histories and Good Faith Examination results provided by Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), or Medical Doctors (MDs).
- Demonstrates collaborative teamwork with Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), or Medical Doctors (MDs) to formulate comprehensive treatment plans for the patients.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements include:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state/province of practice (BSN, NP, PA also accepted)
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical or medical setting.
- Maintain an up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to effectively respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate life-saving care when required.
- In-depth knowledge of aesthetic procedures, injectables, laser treatments, and other non-surgical interventions, including their indications, contraindications, and potential side effects.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within a changing environment.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, positive energy and enjoyment of working in a team environment.
EXPERIENCE:
- In-depth knowledge of aesthetic procedures, treatments, and associated risks.
- Familiarity with injectables, laser treatments, chemical peels, and skincare products.
- Excellent clinical skills, including venipuncture and IV administration.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and provide emotional support.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
