Position Description
collecting, analyzing and developing data relative to area, making recommendations and assisting in implementation of
projects. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Travel Required
Major/Essential Functions
- Works with Sr. Managing Director, Assistant Financial Manager, and Department Administrator to prepare reports and financial analyses.
- Assist School of Medicine team with assigned tasks and projects.
- Monitor fund balances and assist managing expenditures and budgets.
- Submission of employee one-time payments, and wRVU incentives schedules and reporting.
- Prepare monthly contract billing, analysis, and audit preparation.
- Management and tracking of inventory.
- Performs annual budget preparation
- Remains current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).
- Personally demonstrate, display and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution.

Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Experienced in grant or contract management.
- Ability to learn complex financial information systems.
- Experience in Fund Accounting, Banner and/or COGNOS.
- Extensive accounting experience and understanding of financial reporting and concepts.
