APPLICATION PROCESS
EXAMINATION
This is a promotional recruitment. The examination process may consist of the following: a supplemental response evaluation, performance examination, and/or structured oral interview. To qualify to be placed on an eligibility list, a candidate must obtain a passing score on each part of the examination. The resulting eligibility list will be used for up to twelve months to fill vacancies.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a field closely related to the knowledge and ability requirements of this classification is required.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience in managing purchasing and contract administration, and/or school district transportation equivalent, including at least two (2) years of supervisory responsibility in administering a purchasing, warehouse, transportation, or reprographics program is required.
License:
• Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License and insurability to drive a District vehicle as part of the District’s Pull Notice program is required.
Special information:
• The operation of a District vehicle is required.
• All applicants will be required to submit a recent (less than one month old from the recruitment closing date) DMV printout (H-6) showing their driving records for the past 10 years.

The Personnel Commission is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time management position in our Business Services division. Under administrative direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Business Services, this position plans, coordinates, directs and oversees the District’s comprehensive purchasing, warehousing and delivery, student transportation, and vehicle maintenance programs.
The District offers a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and District paid life insurance for the employee, plus 24 days paid vacation, 12 days paid sick leave and 13 paid holidays per year.
