About the Team/Role

Performs staff support activities to develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits policies and programs. Audits job content and prepares job descriptions. Develops and/or participates in compensation/benefit surveys to analyze company’s competitive position. Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines and recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems. Recommends company salary structure movements, salary increase budgets, and FLSA exemptions. Prepares special studies and makes recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or stock options. Administers and communicates the company’s benefits program plan options, features and enrollment requirements; assists employees with benefit claim administration inquiries. Analyzes cost containment strategies. Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws governing both compensation and benefits practices. May administer both domestic and international programs.

How you’ll make an impact

Compensation

  • Support the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of our Total Rewards strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market best practices.

  • Review and analyze market benchmarking data, to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity across our APAC markets.

  • Trusted compensation advisor to senior leaders across the region. 

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and government requirements related to compensation, including minimum wage increases, mandatory bonus schemes, and profit sharing.

  • Own the end-to-end management of all regional incentive programs, including commission plans and bonus eligibility policies for various leave types (e.g., parental leave).

  • Oversee LTIP annual tax return lodgement (vested shares & conversion) across the regions.

Benefits 

  • Monitor and report on the overall effectiveness of benefits offerings, identifying gaps or areas for improvement. Support creation of dashboard metrics to report up to leadership. 

  • Provide guidance and support of new benefits programs, enhancements, and changes. Partner with stakeholders to manage communication and training for employees.

  • Ensure compliance with annual leave regulations.

  • Manage insurance, novated leasing  and superannuation.

  • Manage Social insurance reconciliations.

  • Conduct annual insurance reviews and renewals.

  • Manage Maternity Benefits Government reconciliation.

  • Review and implement changes related to the New Zealand Holiday Act.

Compliance

  • Manage the integration or divestiture of benefits programs during acquisitions or divestitures in APAC, ensuring compliance, alignment, and a smooth transition for employees.

  • Ensure compliance with international labor laws and regulations.

  • Oversee country-specific pay equity and gender pay reporting requirements (e.g., Australia)

Experience you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of Total Reward experience. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply data.

  • Proven expertise in navigating complex regional labor laws and regulations.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Workday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, GRP).

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multinational corporation.

  • Fluency in multiple languages.

  • Experience with equity and long-term incentive plans.

  • Extensive experience in compensation and benefits management, with significant experience in APAC.

  • Experience with Tax reconciliations in Japan and Australian payroll
