The opportunity
Due to growth Silver Chains Aged Community Care Service is recruiting a further Registered Nurse on a Permanent Full-Time basis, Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm. This role offers the opportunity to work in the community with a variety of clients. Acute general nursing skills are desirable; community nursing experience is highly regarded. This role provides chronic disease management, wound, and catheter care to clients in their own homes. This commuity based role will cover suburbs from Stirling HIghway and above and west of the freeway, including, but not limited to, Alexander Heights, Beldon, Duncraig, HIllarys, North Beach, Scarborough, JOondalup, Shenton Park, Churchlands, Quinns Rocks, Tapping, Yanchep. There is an option of a salary packaged vehicle, or a pool car that can be picked up and dropped off to our Osborne Park base.
Key Responsibilities
You will be an experienced, multi-skilled Nurse. Using your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities, you will provide an optimum standard of care to our clients, making a real contribution to their health outcomes. Wound care and catheter care is essential to this role
About you
- Strong experience in Wound and Catheter care
- Advanced Clinical assessment skills chronic disease management
- 2+ years Post Grad broad experience in general nursing
- Current Registration with the AHPRA
- Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
- Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written
- A current Australian driver’s licence
