Village at Belmar, Lakewood's premier senior living community, is seeking an organized, compassionate leader to be our Assisted Living Director. The Assisted Living Director is responsible the day-to-day operations of the assisted living and memory care program; ensuring that we are providing our residents with a tailored solution to meet their individual needs and encourage independence.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall operation of the Assisted Living and Memory Care program within the community
- Direct and manage staff that provide for the care and needs of the residents
- Ensure that residents’ emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs are met through all program services and activities
- Manage labor costs, supplies, and other line items in the department budget
- Assist with writing, reviewing, and presenting resident assessments and care plans
- Develop and monitor documentation systems to ensure that all regulatory timeframes for review of assessments and service plans are met
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and calm throughout the community
- Oversee surveys made by authorized government agencies
- Ensure the scheduling and completion of new resident orientation
- Assess potential residents for assisted living level of care
- Coordinates family/resident care conferences and serves as a direct liaison between residents, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Gerontology, Business or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an assisted living, long term care, or hospital setting including experience with the senior population
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed
Pay:
$90,000-95,000 annual salary based on experience
