Position Summary
We are seeking a Beverage Manager to lead our bar program and oversee the beverage experience at Nami. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and detail-oriented hospitality professional with a passion for craft cocktails, wine, sake, and beverage innovation. This role will be responsible for creating a world-class beverage program that complements our culinary vision, training and developing bar staff, and ensuring seamless service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of Nami’s beverage program, including cocktails, sake, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to design beverage pairings that elevate the guest experience.
- Develop seasonal cocktail menus and specials aligned with Nami’s brand and guest expectations.
- Manage vendor relationships, oversee purchasing, inventory, and cost controls.
- Recruit, train, and mentor bar team members, instilling product knowledge and service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Monitor guest feedback and adjust beverage offerings to continually enhance satisfaction.
- Partner with leadership on marketing, promotions, and special event activations.

Requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of beverage management or lead bartender experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine-dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, sake, and wine; certifications (CMS, WSET, Sake Adviser/Sommelier) a plus.
- Proven ability to build and inspire a high-performing team.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Track record of managing beverage costs and driving revenue through innovative programs.
- Passion for Japanese cuisine, culture, and hospitality is highly desirable.
