We are seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to lead and oversee the performance of our Vintage Housing property portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring the successful day-to-day operations of multiple communities, compliance with affordable housing regulations, and the development of a high-performing property management team. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; must be available for after-hours emergencies)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations across all assigned communities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs, including:
Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program
HOME Investment Partnerships program
Affordable Housing Program (FHLB) - Prepare and maintain compliance reporting for various stakeholders.
- Monitor property financials, review variance reports, and support property managers in achieving financial goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance to property management staff.
- Address escalated tenant concerns and vendor disputes.
- Lead monthly team meetings to share updates, foster collaboration, and promote engagement.
- Prepare annual operating budgets for each property.
- Assist with capital planning and marketing strategy development in compliance with HUD AFHMP guidelines.
- Collaborate with ownership, development, construction, and accounting teams.
- Identify and address training needs for property staff.
- Participate in special projects and other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- 5+ years in property management, with recent experience as a Regional Property Manager or Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of Section 42 compliance; HCCP certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with OneSite a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple sites.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk frequently, with occasional bending, reaching, squatting, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
