Sport Ortho Urgent Care is an emerging outpatient practice that is part of a comprehensive orthopedic model. We are committed to offering an innovative experience to the patient by having an integrated approach with a team of providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Physical Therapists.

The Opportunity

Sport Ortho Urgent Care is currently seeking a highly motivated individual as a Radiologic Technologist.  This position would entail XR/MA responsibilities while being a part of a comprehensive team of providers. 

Full scope or limited scope applicants. New grads are welcome.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance according to the specifications of examination.
• Take x-rays following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.
• Overall support for Providers and daily operations.
• Assists with scheduling, answering multi-phone lines.
• Gives injections, applies bracing, casting and durable medical equipment.
• Processing of referrals.
• Gives injections, applies bracing, casting and durable medical equipment.

License/Certification:  

• Tennessee X-Ray Operator License (Required)
• ARRT Certification
