Janitorial Maintenance Technician- Part-time. Flexible hours. na Shea Concrete

Shea Concrete, New England's Premier Precast Concrete producer, is currently hiring for a part-time Janitorial Maintenance Technician based out of our Amesbury, MA Office and Manufacturing Plant with duties at our Nottingham, NH plant as well. The Janitorial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks and duties in a safe and productive manner to maintain a sanitized, clean and welcoming environment for our staff in both an office setting and a manufacturing setting.  

Responsibility 

• Perform floor care: sweeping, mopping and vacuuming. 
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, break areas, offices, and high-traffic areas. 
• Dust and clean furniture, surfaces, ledges and fixtures. 
• Handle light maintenance tasks (e.g., emptying and re-lining trash bins, carrying trash to dumpster).
• Wear required PPE and follow all health and safety guidelines
• Communicate any facility or supply needs promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred (office or commercial setting is ideal)
• Must be at least 18 years of age per federal guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail
• Must clock in and out from the job site using our digital timekeeping system
• Ability to remain focused on tasks

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand/bend/stretch/reach/kneel/crawl, etc.
• Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time throughout work shift. 
• Ability to lift and carry 30lbs. 
• Must wear proper PPE at all times
