About the Role:
The Block Plant Labor position is essential for the efficient operation of our construction supply facility. This role involves the production and handling of concrete blocks, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. The successful candidate will work closely with a team to maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols. Additionally, this position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate machinery, contributing to the overall productivity of the plant. Ultimately, the Block Plant Labor will play a crucial role in supporting construction projects by providing high-quality materials that meet customer demands.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic understanding of safety practices in a construction environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Familiarity with concrete production processes and equipment.
- Certification in safety training or first aid.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the production of concrete blocks.
- Assist in the mixing, pouring, and curing of concrete to ensure product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
