Ave Maria University seeks applicants for a full-time position in Nursing beginning in the fall of 2026. Applicants with a doctoral degree in Nursing are preferred. A master’s degree in nursing is acceptable. Applicants with a minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, experience as a preceptor, or educator are preferred. Experience in simulation and clinical skills instruction and debriefing is desired. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required; certified instructors in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) are preferred. Knowledge of clinical practice, quality improvement, patient safety initiatives. and evidence-based care of multicultural populations are strongly preferred. Successful candidates should also demonstrate excellence in teaching and scholarship. Ideal candidates will have the ability to teach a broad range of courses in nursing.
