Senior Bookkeeper Food Services na Methuen Public School District

JOB TITLE:   Senior Bookkeeper  - Food Services Department 
ASSIGNMENT: School Nutrition Department-Central Administration Building 9 Branch Street

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate with not less that two (2) years experience as Bookkeeper and computer background with extensive experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite,  Access, Infinite Campus and/or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, services and abilities to perform the duties of the position.  Must have prior knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables, payroll and attendance processes.  Banking experience and experience with MUNIS is desirable.  Applicant must be able to work with minimal amount of supervision and a high level of accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work and communicate with vendors
• Verify accuracy of deliveries and invoices
• Assist with budget and salary projects when needed
• Purchase Orders
• Accounts Payables
• Accounts Receivables
• Assist with Payroll
• Handle state of Massachusetts’s tax tracking program
• Verify School Lunch on-line payments
• Verify daily cash deposits from 6 Methuen schools
• Any other duties as assigned
