Logansport Community School Corporation Job Description: - Directly responsible to a classroom teacher and the program supervisor.
- Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher.
- Assist in teaching a diverse population of children in an atmosphere of kindness that encourages active inquiry, fosters individual growth and promotes respect for self, others and the world in which they live.
- Participate in pre-service and regular In-Service training.
- Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher.
- Must be energetic, able to multi-task, have patience, and positive disposition.
- Enjoy working with elementary aged children but be able to assist students with all grade level academic lessons and assignments.
- Experience with persons with special needs is a plus but not required.
- 60 college credit hours or Para Pro Certificate.
- Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law.
