We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Legal Expert to lead the effective management of contracts across their full lifecycle—from drafting and negotiation to compliance and oversight. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the Head of Policy & Compliance by providing legal advisory services, managing contractual risk, and contributing to fraud prevention strategies. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring the organisation remains aligned with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and evolving market trends.
Key outcomes of the role
Contract Management:
- Manage, review, and draft contracts to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies and established practices, as well as third-party policies
- Assist in negotiating contract terms and conditions with customers, suppliers, third parties and affiliated companies
- Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records
- Plan/support the onboarding and continued use of digital contract management service
- Provide advice, interpretation guidance and assistance regarding existing contractual terms to other company teams
Support Head of Compliance and Policy:
- Provide support to the Head of Policy & Compliance in their role, including preparing reports, conducting research, and assisting in policy development
- Cooperate with other divisions and roles within the Domains, Identity and Software division of Team Internet, including Sales, Support, Compliance, Legal, Data Protection staff
Legal Advice:
- Provide legal advice and review to senior management in a supporting capacity
- Review new products, services, and websites for compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations
- Act as the point of escalation for complaints by customers, suppliers, and third parties
- Handle legal claims and disputes under the guidance of the Head of Policy & Compliance
Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including anti-money laundering and crime prevention laws in collaboration with the division Compliance Manager
- Address data protection requirements, such as GDPR and other privacy laws, in collaboration with the division Data Protection Officer
- Stay informed about emerging threats and ensure the business adjusts protocols accordingly
Fraud Prevention and Detection:
- Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies in collaboration with relevant teams
- Detect and investigate potential fraudulent activities
- Stay informed about emerging fraud trends and adjust policies accordingly
Market Awareness:
- Understand market and industry trends relating to contracting term
About you
- Have a passion for Law
- Bring demonstrable experience in reviewing, drafting, and amending legal agreements
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment managing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies, as well as shaping internal legal workflows
- Be curious, research, and ask questions

- Strong management skills with the ability to independently set and deliver against deadlines
