Veterinary Receptionist (Maternity Leave) na Ivcevidensia

The role involves a high level of face to face contact with our clients so we are looking for someone who has the confidence, empathy and experience to provide excellent standards of care, as well as that personal touch.

*Welcoming clients and their pets on a arrival at the practice

*Dealing with queries face to face , by telephone and by email

*Maintaining accurate records

*Ensuring good communication between reception and the clinical teams

*Taking payments, cashing up and submitting takings at the end of each day

*Adhering to GDPR regulations and respecting client confidentiality 

*Maintaining a clean and tidy reception and waiting room at all time

*Following heath and safety procedures and protocols 

This is a full-time role working 4 days per week from 08:15am-7:00pm with one hour lunch, Saturdays on a shared rota basis from 08:15am-4:00pm with half hour lunch (same for Bank Holidays). The Saturday hours are averaged in to the working week working 1 in 4. 

The successful candidate should display excellent communications, be able to adapt to change within a fast-paced environment and show empathy to clients during emotional situations. Previous experience is preferred and the ability to use IT systems is essential.

Friendly and close-knit team, with low staff turnover. Many staff members have been with us for >10 years and counting! We strive to work as a team, have regular clinical discussions, and are constantly moving the practice forwards, both clinically and professionally. Congleton (large town on the East Cheshire/Staffordshie/Derbyshire border), close to the Peak District (for rural-lovers), as well as Manchester, Birmingham, and Liverpool (for those who prefer the city!).
