Job Description:Are you a strategic leader with a passion for trade compliance and team development? We’re looking for a Customs Brokerage Manager to lead our customs brokerage operations, ensure regulatory excellence, and inspire a high-performing team in a fast-paced, global environment.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular staff appraisals and one-on-one meetings in line with our company guidelines.
- Support team members in setting clear goals and tracking development progress.
- Oversee accurate classification for all shipments across all customers.
- Monitor and manage duty deferment usage and thresholds.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and transition of all new business accounts.
- Collaborate with account management and sales teams to support commercial activities.
- Partner with the Trade Compliance Manager to lead compliance training and awareness initiatives.
- Support internal audit processes and act as a key liaison with customs authorities.
- Manage and optimize customs systems and reporting tools.
- Provide strategic insights for customer reviews.
- Champion the implementation of new system changes and process enhancements.
