Duties
Supervisory position, under general direction within a framework of overall goals and objectives, the incumbent is responsible for leadership, direction, supervision, accuracy, and completeness of a wide range of complex treasury management activities and financial analysis functions. Supervisory position over subordinate financial management analysts and accounting technicians responsible for oversight of AFSVC cash management operations within Treasury Management Division of the Financial Management and Comptroller Directorate. Serves as subject matter expert to AFSVC functional areas with standard cash and treasury services products. Execute strategies to improve performance within concentration bank contract, audit readiness of bank statement/files, manage electronic records management file plan, and cost analysis/reduction of bank service fees. Oversees the verification of bank accounts, on-line access, and retrieval of financial statements by the financial analyst coordinating communication between financial institutions and authorized signers. Modernize payment services and cash management system requirements (including Oracle Cash Management). Supports treasury reporting/audits actions, develops and presents training materials in courses/workshops, and documents business processes/internal controls in operating instructions and implement solutions. Adhere to laws, policies, and financial institution regulations. Participates in activities designed to improve work processes, reduce operating costs, and improve services to customers. Supervisory duties include planning and evaluating subordinates work performance and schedules, interviewing and making selections for appointment, hearing and resolving employee complaints, identifying training and development needs of employees, initiating awards for recognition, ensures employees continued adherence to DOD and AFSVC workforce policies, safety, and security procedures. Responsible for reporting employee progress, performance, training needs, and disciplinary problems to Branch Chief. Oversees subordinates work to ensure deadlines are met, organizing, and coordinating workload of subordinates. Frequently represents Branch Chief and occasionally represents Division Chief in various meetings. Performs other duties as assigned or directed by supervisor. Qualifying Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree in business/finance/accounting or proven experience with cash operations, treasury management, account analysis, and banking systems. Demonstrated experience with evaluating data related to cash/bank statement reconciliation, financial analysis, and internal control policies. Experience leading relationships with customers and a team, multi-tasking, and being self-directed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Experience with project/program administration is desired. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to prepare spreadsheets, correspondence, reports, and presentations efficiently and accurately. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to synthesize and articulate complex topics into simple, clear correspondence throughout the organization. Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
