About your new career:
As an Accountant reporting to the Family Office Accounting Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of various trusts, private entities, and individuals. This position works closely with the company’s owners and senior executives, ensuring their financial matters are handled with the highest level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. The role focuses on core bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
Post monthly income, contributions, distributions, and interest accruals on notes
Process incoming invoices and issue weekly checks
Prepare and present weekly cash reports
Make deposits and maintain organized filing systems
Prepare quarterly professional and administrative fees
Assist with quarterly and year-end financial statements
Support cash flow forecasting
To be successful, your background should include:
Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience strongly preferred
Proficient in Excel (intermediate or higher)
QuickBooks experience is required
Solid understanding of debits and credits and general ledger activity
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with sound judgment
A proactive, personable team player who’s eager to learn and takes initiative.
The hours for this position are Mon -Fri 8:00am-5:00pm.
