At Crown Power & Equipment, the Parts Sales Representative plays a vital role within our organization. This position is responsible for assisting both external customers and internal departments with their parts needs, helping to ensure timely service and smooth operations. As the primary point of contact at the parts counter and on incoming department calls, the Parts Sales Representative provides top-notch customer service while building strong, lasting relationships that support continued customer loyalty.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

  • Assist internal and external customers in person and over the phone
  • Prepare parts order quotes and determine parts availability
  • Place and receive parts orders
  • Deliver parts as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory and organized product displays
  • Stock inventory and assist with merchandising
  • Match invoices with packing slips for accuracy
  • Utilize business systems and computer programs efficiently
  • Adapt to changes in responsibilities as business needs evolve
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and actively participate in scheduled safety meetings
  • Assist with other duties as required to ensure smooth and efficient department operations

Requirements

  

What We’re Looking For: Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to respond to customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and with a customer-first mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and polished phone etiquette
  • Skilled in conflict resolution with effective time management abilities
  • Capable of multitasking while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HBS software is a plus
  • Familiarity with Case IH and Kubota equipment and parts is preferred, but not required
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or vocational training is a plus

  

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical movements such as walking, climbing stairs, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, and twisting
  • Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs.; frequently up to 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse or outdoor environments, including inclement weather.

  

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in parts sales, preferably in a related industry
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Valid Class E driver’s license or better
