The Role
As the Accounts Payable Specialist at GTI, you will be responsible for supporting accounting operations on our finance team.
Responsibilities
- Code invoices, vouchers, check requests, and other documents with correct accounting codes in accordance with standard procedures and accurately enter them into the financial system.
- Handle vendor correspondence via phone and email.
- Obtain all supporting documentation for invoices (such as purchase orders and approvals) and upload documentation into the financial system.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice processing.
- Reconcile various accounts by identifying and correcting posting errors or omissions.
- Receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries regarding account status, including communicating resolutions of discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
- File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports.
- Support market lead personnel in various aspects of the accounting close process.
- Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting Department.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Self-directed, with the ability to follow up on pending issues independently.
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including handling confidential information appropriately.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Must possess valid driver’s license
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
