QC Technician na AmeriTex Pipe

 This position performs a variety of tasks related to testing and ensuring of the quality control of the product.   

 Primary Responsibilities:

  Quality Control

• Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples. 
• Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release. 
• Perform visual inspections of finished products. 
• Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses 
• Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures · Conducting tests and inspections of products, or processes to evaluate quality or performance Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form. 
• Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems. 
• Inspecting materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Providing information to supervisors or co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. 

Working Conditions:

Plant environment – the weather will dictate the conditions of the environment (Hot, Cold, Humid, Wet)

Education & Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of arithmetic and geometry and their applications. 
• Knowledge of raw materials, and production processes 
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills 
• The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense 
• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 
• Professional attitude and appearance Will be required to obtain ACPA Quality School Certification and ACI Concrete Strength Testing Certification. Testing is paid for by the employer, you must pass the tests to become certified in order to remain a QC Tech.
