The Recruiter has overall responsibility for sourcing, interviewing, testing, and hiring of applicants for both exempt and nonexempt staff, inclusive of clerical, technical, and administrative positions at all of Cenlar’s locations. The Recruiter must have considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all specialized functions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure, as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, testing, and hiring of applicants
- Develops and builds relationships with hiring managers and supervisors
- Utilizes job boards and recommend recruitment sources to attract top quality candidates
- Regularly reviews pre-employment testing to enhance overall employee quality
- Establishes methods to build a talent pool of candidates for future recruitment needs
- Attends community, company sponsored, and college job fairs to generate a broad pool of diverse candidates
- Creates quarterly analysis of recruiting statistics and turnover costs to deliver strategic recommendations to Senior Management
- Ensures EEO compliance in the hiring process.
- Assists with weekly job posting process as it relates to the open requisition reporting
- Provides recommendations to improve recruiting processes and employee retention
- Acts as liaison with employment agencies and coordinate temporary/short-term employee placement needs
- Works with Cenlar's marketing department to create and submit advertising campaigns, including employee referral promotional programs
- May lead and direct work of others
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar’s reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years of prior recruiting experience required
- Impeccable organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to focus and remain professional in an environment where interruptions are normal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain, record, and document the flow of candidates through the recruitment process
- Experience with ATS required
