 About the Role

 The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting customers and driving sales growth through exceptional service, accurate order management, and collaboration with the outside sales team. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail to ensure customers receive timely quotes, competitive pricing, and consistent follow-through on orders.

 Key Responsibilities

 Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate quotes and processing sales orders.

  • Proactively follow up on leads, open quotes, and customer requests to drive order conversion.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM/ERP systems, including customer information, pipeline activity, and order history.
  • Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support OEM and distributor accounts.
  • Partner with operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery and resolve customer issues quickly.
  • Coordinate with vendors and transportation providers to secure competitive pricing and support customer programs.
  • Assist with walk-in customers, returns, and RMA processing as needed.
  • Support the AR team in resolving billing/payment issues with customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of Galleher Industries.

 Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of inside sales or customer service experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Strong phone and email communication skills, with proven ability to manage multiple customer interactions daily.
  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems (NetSuite or similar preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to calculate costs, apply markups, and process quotes accurately.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of the truck body, trailer, lumber, or metal component industries is a plus.
