Delaware North Travel is hiring full-time and part-time Food Service Cashiers to join our team at Syracuse Airport in Syracuse, New York. As a Food Service Cashier, you will accurately ring up merchandise and products.

Shift: 3:45 am start time

 

On July 10, 2025, Delaware North announced its US-based Travel Hospitality Services (THS) business will be sold to Areas, a global leader in travel dining and retail. The sale is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2025. Upon completion of the sale, all THS team members will become part of the Areas. Unit Description:

Providing hospitality services since 2019, Delaware North operates food and beverage services at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. Dining options include the Middle Ages Brewing Company, Dunkin Coffee on the Run, and Johnny Rockets. Serving more than a million travelers each year, Syracuse Hancock International Airport is the primary passenger airport for Central New York. Delaware North team members receive a paid meal during their shifts. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and provide details on items for sale 
• Participate in set-up, opening, and closing procedures, arrange inventory, and notify supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages
• Record all transactions via the point of sale system and account for all transactions

Qualifications:

• Ability to provide excellent service to guests
• Accurately account for cash and inventory

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
