This role offers a high-impact opportunity to lead sales initiatives and drive revenue growth within the security services sector. The Director of Sales will own business development strategy, build and manage relationships with C-level executives, and leverage industry networks to expand market presence. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, enabling the successful candidate to shape pipeline development, negotiate high-value deals, and collaborate across internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes. Accountabilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the IT and security services industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at C-level and executive levels, establishing trust and credibility.
  • Leverage existing and new OEM partnerships to enhance sales opportunities and drive strategic collaborations.
  • Use consultative, value-based selling techniques to position solutions that address client needs and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate forecasting, and successful deal closure.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, operations, marketing, and service delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless execution.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship within the sales organization, contributing to best practices, strategic planning, and performance optimization.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development or sales leadership, preferably in the security services or IT services sectors.
  • Extensive network within security and technology industries, including OEM and executive-level contacts.
  • Expertise in consultative, solution-oriented, and value-based selling methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new accounts, cross-sell or upsell services, and close high-value deals (minimum 12 new logo accounts per year).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a hunter mentality, capable of achieving ambitious sales targets independently.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, influence, and guide sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to client sites and industry events.
  • Familiarity with CRM and pipeline management tools, such as Netsuite, for accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a field business development executive and 3+ years in services sales.
