The Bayshore Elementary School District is a small school district located on the border of the northeastern corner of San Mateo County and the southeastern corner of San Francisco. Job Responsibility Using prescribed menu’s and follows established procedures to cook a wide variety of entrees in large quantities for school breakfasts and lunches. Performs a wide variety of duties in cafeteria kitchen and other campus facilities; serving of food in multiple locations, assist with maintenance and cleaning of cafeteria facilities and equipment; operates cash register; works closely with students and employees. Perform other related duties as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities (May include, but are not limited to the following) •Operation of ovens, large mixers, grater, slicer, proofing oven, dishwasher and other kitchen equipment.•Operate cash register.•Prepare and serve elementary school breakfast and lunch.•Prepare, transport and serve junior/senior high school breakfast and lunch.•Prepare snacks for After School Snack Program.•Assists in preparation for next day as needed.•Assist in set up serving stations and supplies.•Measures and mixes ingredients; cooks items on ranges and in ovens.•Cleans, disinfects and sanitizes kitchen surfaces.•Cleans and stores cafeteria equipment, pots, pans, utensils and food supplies.•Stocks facilities with supplies.•Receives and stocks facilities with supplies; assist with inventory of supplies
