SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Retail Development Manager will accelerate growth in our premium retail segment. This role is pivotal in evaluating, establishing, and driving key support elements for our retail business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, implementing robust processes, and ensuring disciplined execution of strategic initiatives to support faster and sustainable business expansion.Responsibilities:
Achieve defined retail business objectives including top-line growth, profitability, and premium/innovation strategy execution.
Drive growth of existing dealers and support onboarding of new dealers with a premium mindset.
Implement strategic business programs to support premium retail development.
Set and monitor SMART objectives for key support elements, with tailored approaches for different geographies.
Collaborate with the team to build competencies of shop sales specialists in selling premium and innovative products from the Jotun assortment.
Design and execute stakeholder engagement activities in coordination with the marketing team; monitor progress through structured processes.
Work closely with sales and support teams to ensure timely execution of planned activities and achievement of objectives.
Conduct regular visits to dealers, shop sales specialists, painters, and interior designers to build rapport and assess initiative effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to present progress updates and drive process improvements.
Expand distribution points (shops/dealers) in focused markets, with a strong emphasis on growth in single-brand shops.
Ensure all initiatives align with the premium retail strategy of the decorative segment.

What We Look For:
Bachelor’s degree. Sales & Marketing is preferable.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Retail Sales and Business Development Activities.
