Are you ready to take on a dynamic and rewarding role? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Sales Account Executive.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Able to sustain direct contact with the public, by demonstrating exceptional customer service. 
• Greet and assist visitors as a representative of the Sales Department. 
• Communicate daily with Sales Director, Food & Beverage Manager, culinary staff, catering staff, and operations staff about the needs of our guests and their expectations. 
• Assist with maintaining an extensive client database for follow-up sales calls and contact (in person, phone, email, mail, etc.) 
• Assist with follow-up of guests’ experience at the venue, ensuring that all issues have been addressed. 
• Coordinate and deliver effective sales presentations. 
• Independently source, identify, and pursue outside networking opportunities through professional industry resources and community events, or special events attended by prospects. 
• Maintain an extensive client database for follow-up sales calls and contact (in person, phone, email, mail, etc.) 
• Assist with follow-up of guests’ experience at the venue, ensuring that all issues have been addressed. 
• Independently makes changes to inventory, as needed, to group and convention blocks 
• Ensure sales department presence at events before and during booked events. 
• MUST MAINTAIN STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY OF ALL INFORMATION PROCESSED THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT INCLUDING RECORDS, REPORTS, DOCUMENTS, CONVERSATIONS, ETC. A breach of confidentiality will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination from employment. 
• Responsible for practicing safe work habits in the performance of the job. 
• Duties and responsibilities will include other activities and areas as needed to carry out position functions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, AND REGISTRATIONS 

• Must be able to submit supporting documents of education and training (High School Diploma, GED, Degree, and Certificates) to support qualifications. 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain in good standing a Driver’s License and qualify for Fleet Management coverage on company vehicles. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

(G8/S0)

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) 
• And one (1) year sales experience, hotel sales preferred. (G8) 

(G9/S0)

• Associate Degree in Business Management or similar field 
• With three (3) years sales experience, hotel sales preferred. (G9) 

(G10/S0)

• Bachelor Degree in Business Management or similar field 
• With five (5) years sales experience, hotel sales preferred (G10) 

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

Strong organizational skills required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. 

REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to apply commonsense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables. Must be able to communicate effectively in person, while on the phone, while using intercom/microphone, and in writing.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of the position, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes, tobacco smoke, or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.
