In this role, your mission and responsibilities will be to:

Under the direction of the Materials Manager, the Installer is responsible for operating, maintaining and installing equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the organization.
Specifically, you’ll:

 

  • Charged with the responsibility of defining obstacles and aid in creating solutions concerning safety, identifying safety hazards and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Follow company safety practices and procedures to provide a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Install a variety of attachments on industrial equipment using a variety of hand tools and pneumatic equipment.
  • Lifts and positions assembly using a variety of lifting devices such as floor jacks, overhead electrical hoists and forklift equipment.
  • Installation of hydraulic kits and assemblies, and operates various industrial equipment.
  • Responsible for working safety and total quality of work, and moves material and equipment from a storage area to the general shop area.
  • Receives instructions, prints and formal job procedures for the job.
  • Communicates directly with the Value Stream Leader and Supply Chain Leader.
  • Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly, and able to work efficiently alone or in a team setting.
  • Highly qualified candidate is capable of reading Schematics.
  • Perform all other duties, as required, to meet customer and company quality and productivity needs

 

Experience and requirements:
You’re a curious problem solver who can bring big ideas to life. You’re creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease. You’re agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we always deliver top-notch customer experiences. You also have: 

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ideal applicant must be familiar with: backhoes, skid steers, dozers, or other construction equipment.
  • Previous work experience: 2-3 years preferred.
  • Mechanical experience is beneficial. 
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills
