The National Sales Manager, Foodservice Distribution, leads our growth strategy through major corporate distributors. This role is critical in expanding our distribution footprint and strengthening relationships with national and regional distributor partners. The position requires a self-starter who is highly driven, skilled at building rapport, and adept at executing long-term strategies that deliver sustained growth. 


Key Responsibilities 


  • Own and manage relationships with major corporate foodservice distributors (e.g., Sysco, US Foods, Performance Food Group, Gordon Food Service, etc.) at the national and regional levels. 
  • Drive distribution gains and increase case volume of Kilcoy’s raw protein and fully cooked sous vide products through strategic sales planning and execution. 
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to accelerate access to corporate decision-makers and influence product placement and stocking opportunities. 
  • Develop and implement joint business plans with key distributors, aligning mutual goals around growth, marketing, and performance targets. 
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, culinary, and finance) to support execution of national programs and product launches. 
  • Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify opportunities, track performance, and recommend adjustments for improved profitability and growth. 
  • Represent Kilcoy Global Foods at industry events, distributor meetings, and key customer engagements to promote the brand and drive engagement. 
  • Identify and cultivate new distributor opportunities aligned with strategic foodservice growth channels. 



Requirements

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements 


  • 7+ years of experience in a national or regional sales role within the food service industry, with a strong emphasis on protein sales. 
  • Proven track record managing corporate-level accounts with major foodservice distributors (Sysco, US Foods, PFG, GFS, etc.). 
  • Established relationships and contacts within distributor corporate offices and field sales teams. 
  • Deep understanding of distributor structure, processes, and customer segmentation. 
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage trade spending, margins, and pricing strategy. 
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. 
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with the ability to operate independently and as part of a collaborative team. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
