NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.
We are looking for a seasonal Equipment Lubricator to physically apply lubricants/grease to equipment in a timely manner following specific set up directions and schedules at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. Understands food safety compliance, safe food handling and good manufacturing practices in a food plant. This is a seasonal, non-exempt, union position, supporting our fresh pack season, typically July – early November.

Key Responsibilities:
- Uses food grade lubricants/grease to apply lubricants/grease to assigned machines using lubing equipment.
- Follows a specific lubrication schedule; performs repetitive duties timely.
- Observes equipment during operation.
- Follows all procedures for a hygienic food manufacturing process.
- Ensures compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality rules and regulations within area of responsibility.
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience in a manufacturing/industrial facility in the food industry preferred.
- Constantly required to stand, walk; handling/grasping; fine finger manipulation; repetitive motion; speaking/hearing/seeing; vibratory tasks.
- Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.; occasionally pushes up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and work extended schedule, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically August to early November.
Compensation:
The hourly union wage is $21.50, with a 2nd shift differential of $.50 and a 3rd shift differential of $1.00
