Job Summary: This is advanced professional work primarily focused on developing graphic design layouts, infographics, and illustrations. This position also assists in producing a wide variety of graphics, photography, video, web, print and digital presentation materials using original or computer assisted art or reproductions.
Job Duties Include:
- Develop and execute visually appealing layouts for various print and digital media, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines. Create original illustrations and graphics that enhance the visual storytelling of our projects. Explore and implement diverse art styles and concepts to keep designs fresh and innovative.
- Collaborate with team to develop and maintain brand identity across all platforms. Ensure all designs adhere to brand standards. Design and maintain a library of templates for presentations, reports, and other materials to streamline the design process and ensure consistency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to designs in a timely manner.
- Provides support for other members on the Creative Services team in regard to web updates, photography, videography, and content editing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in communications, Broadcasting/video production, marketing, journalism, web design, graphic design, digital media, illustration or a related field and two years of professional experience in art design, graphics, or video-related field.
- Professional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Strong print layout experience with portfolio samples of multi-page books, magazines or reports.
- Knowledge of communications outreach strategies and best practices.
Preferred Experience:
- Proficient using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, etc.); HTML and CSS; Microsoft Office; Web design and user experience (UX) principles; Project management workflows like Planner, Asana, Jira or Trello.
- Design principles, problem solving, typography, color theory, composition, written and oral communication, data management.
- Work independently, handle multiple projects at one time, effectively organize project development, take constructive criticism and adapt designs accordingly.
Licenses:
Requires a valid Florida driver license.
Travel:
General office environment; field work for off-site nature/scenic photography or other outside studio work, as necessary.
Additional Details:
Starting Salary Range: $54,537.60 - $68,161.60
Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.
