Warehouse Team Member - Logistics na Ward North American

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload household or commercial goods from trucks and containers.
• Safely handle, pack, and prepare items for storage or transport.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate labeling and placement.
• Assist drivers and movers with staging items for delivery or pickup.
• Operate warehouse equipment (dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and office staff to support logistical needs.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous warehouse, moving, or logistics experience required
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (50+ lbs) safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
• Forklift certification required.

 LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

 REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
