Job Overview:

Brand Manager Marketing– is responsible for taking iconic brands and charting the next chapter in their journey.


Specific responsibilities include continuing to develop and define the brand positioning and consumer proposition, developing the annual and strategic plans, partnering with communications teams to establish our voice in the market and partnering with our innovation team to bring to life the best additions to our lineup.


This role will have P&L responsibility working with cross functional business teams, partnering with Innovation, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D and Sales Strategy & Planning to effectively commercialize and execute plans with excellence.


The right candidate for this role must be able to navigate between the day-to-day business deliverables and setting the long-term course for growth and success. The candidate will report directly to the Brand Director and must be able to clearly and concisely articulate strategic plans for the brand

Responsibilities:

 • Leading, executing annual operating plan, three-year strategic roadmap to deliver profitable topline growth and dollar share.
• Proven ability to manage risks, opportunities and portfolio brand strategy using a disciplined approach.
• Building and setting brand foundations and portfolio architecture.
• Crafting clear, inspiring, and focused innovation and communications briefs that leads to winning consumer new products and activations.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to executional excellence in category and customer-facing selling.
• A data-driven marketing strategist with the ability to translate insights (e.g., MMM results) into effect plants to deliver on business objectives (both short & long-term).
• Build consensus across teams with a passion for problem-solving, collaboration, digging into the details and rolling up sleeves to make things happen.
• Self-motivation and a keen sense of ownership and accountability, managing multiple high priority initiatives to successful outcomes in a dynamic, demanding environment

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:

• Experience within diverse classes of trade a plus.
• Consumer packaged goods experience, durable goods preferred.
• Strategic competency and ability to demonstrate a history of success.
• Experience in developing marketing programs and go-to-market strategies for multiple retail channels with a focus on digital.
• Expert knowledge of owned, earned, paid, and shared media.
• Marketing competencies include strategic planning, digital campaigns, brand communications, consumer insights, social, paid search, digital analytics, content creation and public relations.
• High degree of business acumen - classic marketing, budget management and P&L understanding.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Ability to work cross functionally with multiple business functions.
• Ability to clearly articulate a compelling vision and strategy.
• Lead agency & partner relationships.
• Analytical mindset and ability to synthesize complex information, connect ideas with data, and present in digestible, easy to understand format.

Compensation: $140,000 - $175,000, Annual Bonus

Education & Experience:

• Education - Undergraduate degree in Business or MBA
• 3-5+ years brand management and marketing experience within top CPG company
