Position Summary:
CEI seeks an accomplished, strategic, and mission-aligned Senior Director of Data and Analytics to lead our enterprise-wide data strategy. In this role, you will build and scale CEI’s data governance, privacy, master data management, and analytics capabilities. You'll bridge business, compliance, and technical teams, ensuring data serves as a secure, reliable foundation for decision-making, regulatory compliance, and operational innovation.
The salary range for the Senior Director of Data and Analytics role at Center for Elders Independence is $180,577 - $ 234,724. Salary based on the market for the Senior Director of Data and Analytics role position, as well as experience, skills, abilities and work history
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive enterprise data and AI strategy aligned with business goals
- Drive the vision for a modern data ecosystem that supports advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI use cases
- Architect and champion a comprehensive Data Governance framework across the organization.
- Lead enterprise-wide Data Privacy efforts, ensuring compliance with key regulations such as CCPA, GDPR and HIPAA.
- Define and operationalize Master Data Management (MDM) and metadata standards to maintain high data quality.
- Implement privacy programs and manage Data Subject Request (DSR) workflows.
- Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to align policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain audit readiness, ensuring robust data security and trail documentation.
- Define a strategic data product roadmap—from zero to one—focused on user- and mission-centered outcomes.
- Translate complex business needs into simplified, compliant, and user-friendly data products.
- Serve as the key liaison across Clinical, Finance, Legal, and IT to enable data-driven insights and care excellence.
- Utilize automation, dashboards, and metadata tools to empower transparency and decision-making.
- Enable rapid delivery of data solutions that enhance care workflows and participant outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 15–20+ years of hands-on leadership in Data Governance, Privacy, or MDM in regulated environments.
- Proven track record in implementing CCPA/GDPR compliance, privacy policies, and DSR workflows.
- Experience launching enterprise-wide MDM and data quality programs.
- Demonstrated leadership in building cross-functional teams and navigating product delivery in agile contexts.
- Strong collaboration history across legal, risk, engineering, and UX domains.
- Exceptional communication and ability to simplify technical concepts for varied audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in healthcare, aging services, or non-profit sectors.
- Familiarity with PACE operations or interdisciplinary patient care models.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
